A Huge Thank You to F.A.C.E.S. and Chris Heins for their $1,000 donation to Piece of the Puzzle Inc!! This could not have come at a better time, as we’re in the process of putting together professional packaging, labeling and marketing a product made by local autism students- the incredible ice cream flavor, PUZZLE PIECES to Ocean county supermarkets and grocery stores!
Through their generosity, F.A.C.E.S. and Chris have given us a huge boost to having this product available for purchase in local markets in Ocean County!

We’d like to take a moment and thank Southern Ocean Medical Center, Janet Leininger, and Joanne Leggit for their generous donations in Memory of our good friend Howard “Howie” Leininger!! Together, they donated more than $200!! These funds will be going to Southern Regional School District where the Piece of the Puzzle Creamery run by the High School Autism Students will be ebarking on the Public unveiling of their trademarked ice cream flavor, Puzzle Pieces!!

Howie was an enormous supporter of our organization and he will be missed by all of us here at Piece of the Puzzle Inc.

We’d like to thank Island Surf and Sail of Ship Bottom for another amazing Ladies Paddle Challenge and another huge donation to Piece of the Puzzle Inc.! Now that it’s getting cold, it’s nice to think back at what an awesome day it was! All of the money donated was used to kickstart the school year for local students with autism. This year, the monies were used to purchase items to help jump start up the in-school business models at Southern Regional High School for the 2011-2012 year! Thanks again to Terry & Anne Marie of Island Surf & Sail! We love you guys!!

They went and done it again!! For the second year in a row, we’d like to send out a very special thank you to Nocole & Barry Baxter from Barry’s Do Me a Flavor in Beach Haven for their generous donation of restaurant supplies and equipment!! The items have been donated to an autism program in a local school district where they will be used to improve their cafe and ice cream business model within the school setting! We can’t say how much this will help our students to learn and practice skills they will need to to lead productive and fulfilling lives! Thank you so much!

On July 30, Island Surf & Sail hosted their 2nd Annual Ladies Paddle Challenge. Through their hard work and an amazing turnout on the day of the event, they were able to donate more than $1,000 dollars to Piece of the Puzzle, Inc.!! Their generosity gives us a huge boost in our dream to ensure productive and fulfilling lives for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We look foward to using this donation towards an insurance policy that will enable us to bring products made by local students with autism to the community. As, executive director of Piece of the Puzzle, Inc. I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to Terry and Anne Marie Deakyne and all the folks over at Island Surf & Sail.
